OUR MENU

Our region’s finest food and drink is a constant source of inspiration. Our seasonal menu reflects contemporary flavours while allowing the integrity of the fresh produce to come through.

Our restaurant serves lunch and dinner paired with local beer, wine, spirits and traditional wood fired pizzas. Our established gardens host a stunning courtyard where you can relax under century-old elm trees.

OUR HISTORY

Built in 1866 and set within an acre of established gardens, The Cosmo is part of country Victoria’s heritage.

 

Badly damaged by fire in 2005 the hotel has been lovingly and respectfully rebuilt and radiates classic country charm. The hotel has a long and colourful history as part of Trentham and the surrounding community.

We have a carefully curated selection of the Macedon Ranges and surrounding region's finest wines available to purchase.

"Best described as a sprawling, massive timber Ponderosa, the Cosmo’s glorious exterior screams old world, the heritage colours so in step with its surrounds. Inside, it is timber throughout the well-spaced front bar, interesting prints on the walls, a level dining room, another area to the right of the bar for dining/functions and then to the prettiest beer garden, which truly is a beer national park. "
